  1. Looks pretty slick, I shall throw my monies at it.

  2. I love Bunn’s work on the Sixth Gun, so I’ll give this a try.

  3. I preordered this but did not receive it. Is it worth tracking down? Money is tight and trying to trim my pull list.

    • I think so. It’s very much a first issue: Bunn introduces the characters and establishes the basic premise. And because it’s all about foundation-laying, this issue, as far as the story goes, won’t blow your mind. But I expect that if you read this issue, you’ll be back for the second issue. The art is fantastic.

  4. Enjoyed the 1st issue. I really look forward to what direction this comic will go in. It’s like Vikings meets Army of Darkness. Gimme some sugar baby!

  5. I wasn’t a huge fan of the dialogue in this issue, but I felt that way about the first couple of Saga issues as well – loving the art, love the cast, and love where this can go from here. On board for at least the first few issues.

  6. My store didn’t have any. May have to head to the next one over.

  7. The art in this issue was beautifully ugly. Cullen Bunn has delivered a comic that is the beginning of something I must read. It would be easy to be cynical and dismiss this as an attempt to fuse two popular genres, but the story is engaging and filled with possibilities. Give it a shot.

  8. I rather liked this actually.
