March 16, 2012 12:30 pm I was about to write that Francavilla won again... then I saw Grampa's sketch
March 14, 2012 9:48 pm This story is HUGE!!! Already amazing characters. A wonderful hero named Marko? Who would have thought. POW 4 Life
February 7, 2012 7:03 am I would have been able to take the dancing spider-man in 3 if that was what was the point of the scene. When Peter wears the symbiote, he was supposed to be dark and dangerous, not a clown. I'm still mixed on the trailer though... too much dark? At least he was wise cracking.
December 31, 2011 1:20 pm I took it out and just couldn't finish it (read a little more than half). His ramblings describing the covers of various classic comic book covers and storylines that I was all too familiar with just couldn't hold my attention. I wanted to like it but I only recommend the book to hardcore Morrison fans.
December 21, 2011 9:34 am I really love this guy. At first I thought it was because he did such amazing sketches on Twart. But after reading his actual comics, I can say that this guy is right up there.
December 16, 2011 6:03 am I'm not sure where I satand. When it comes to the inking debate, the first person I think of for some reason is Joe Mad. I remember his Battle Chasers and X-men stuff as so crisp and with clean lines. The new Avenging Spider-man is really nice and clearly him, but I ask myself, does he need an inker? Maybe there is a button for that?
December 14, 2011 4:55 pm I loved age of apocalypse. It was wahat got me into comics, prior to that I only knew the x-men through the cartoon. This news has me excited, but other than Uncanny XForce, I have never read a AOA story after the original that was worth my anticipation. Fingers crossed.
December 3, 2011 7:54 pm Here is my creepy admission... I always have to remind myself that Josh, Ron and Conor are not my friend. For that matter Crank and Mike Norton as well. I have been listening to the Ifanboy POTW poscast every week (plus video shows and specials) for I think 6 years now. But at the end of the day it is easier to think of them as my friends when I want to share something I learned on the podcast because it is a lot less creepy than telling people "I heard this on a comic book podcast..." I used to work at a comic store. I know exactly the type of fan that Josh is talking about, and I know it isn't even remotely aimed at me, or most of the people on this message board.
December 2, 2011 9:02 am Francavillaaaaaaaa!
November 11, 2011 7:23 pm Great article. I know it is not aimed at me because I know that I wouldn't be able to create anything... I'm more of a reader! I do have a question for Josh. I know you have comic book aspirations. And I remember reading a mini comic that you did with a comic book pro (that I am ashamed to say I do not remember the name of). But have you had any other work published... maybe under a pen name?
