November 7, 2011 6:08 pm I live in Canada and just found out last week about the KOBO Vox, which seems to be like the nook or fire. Pretty cool. I am seriously contemplating buying one. Maybe even checking out some digital stuff. Is the kobo vox and the new nook identical?
October 28, 2011 7:51 pm Nice article. I think that anyone that writes a review should definately take note of the article. I am a very occasional poster and sometimes I feel like writting a brief one word review. If I every write "sucks" you can bet that it was definately something i really didn't like, and I had neither the time or inclination to explain why. On another note. I LOVE BACHALO! Sometimes his art is a little to exagerated for me (but usually it is just a few panels) in general I find he is exciting and actually has a unique style that is immediately recognizable. I respect that.
September 11, 2011 2:40 pm Here's as good a place as any for this. Montreal 1,000,000 Comix is an amazing shop. The guys that work there know your name, drop things in your pull box with no obligation to buy if they think you will like something, order (and actually get) anything you missed. Plus, they are responsible for the growing Montreal Comicon (which even the guys themselves say you do not do for the money). I always speak well of them because they are comics done right. The only downfall to them being a truely great store for absolutely everyone is that the store is small and is packed with stuff. It gives off a stereotypical feel... but it is anything but. Hope to see you at Montreal comicon if you are anywhere near here.
July 1, 2011 2:18 pm I all seriousness, my first comic was a Superman and Batman story that had something to do with Zellers (a canadian target type store).  You never know what may bring in new readers.
But that is ridiculous!
July 1, 2011 2:09 pm I am not a huge DC reader.  I regularly try out the batbooks when it is a creative team I enjoy, but that is about it.

How a question:
Am I the only one that thinks that this whole reboot thing will only be a temporary thing?  Think a longer verssion of Age of Apocalypse or something like Heroes Reborn.

DC will be able to make all these (great?) stories, but I have a feeling everything will be somewhat back to normal down the line.  Whatever was a huge sucess will be kept in "continuity" but the characters will be back to normal.

What do you think?
January 12, 2011 10:48 pm That sucks.  I buy both Cars and Incredibles for my son.
December 4, 2010 10:39 pm Hard to argue with this review since it is opinion.  However, "1" for art is wrong.  The artist had some panels that definately had some problems, but some panels were absolutely beautiful.

I am only a passing fan of Green Lantern.  I like the mythology but don't really read it.  However, with this trailer I am very much looking forward to the film.

Sinestro's moustache was perfect.

The most beloved super hero of all time?

The only thing that looked cool to me was Kilowog.  Hopefully it was just a weird cut because for now I am not that excited.

My POW too.

I have no basis for my theory, but I think all of this is one story of one man's life.  It is just told out of order.  And the deaths are not really the title character dying, but instead, metaphorical for a major change or decision that Bras has made in his life.

This is the only issue that I feel puts my thoughts on my theory in doubt because, I am not sure what decision or change in his life could have occured in this one... since he is really not in the issue that much.

What do you guys think?
