April 18, 2012 6:43 pm I must say I have been looking forward to this issue of the attach on Wayne Matter for a while. I just fished this issue and now I have a month to wait for the brawl across Gotham. Darn you Snyder and your ability to built such suspension that it has made Batman and Swamp Thing almost like an addiction!!! Five Stars in art, dialogue, writing, and for the following line: Talon: You know what we do to bats, Bruce? We eat them whole. Bones and all. Batman: Not in THIS CAVE you don't.

April 16, 2012 6:31 pm I have been looking forward to the start of this event for a while now. Even if it is an extra dollar, it is well worth it considering what we will be getting from the issue (and the following issues). Let's be honest, we've been getting a good deal on each prior issue for $2.99 as it is. Even if Snyder's Batman will be $3.99 from now on, I still think it's worth it. Batman and AvX are the two best things going in comics right now.

April 10, 2012 2:54 pm Also, it says in the beginning of the article that "later this month" is when the issue drops, but at the end of the article is says May 30th. Which one is it?

April 3, 2012 3:55 am This week I am picking up Animal Man #8 and Swamp Thing # 8. I want to ask here though if I should go ahead and pick up all eight issues of O.M.A.C. since the series is now done. This is the one series that everyone seemed upset about being killed, and since my local comic store still has all issues stocked, is it worth cashing out and picking up the whole collection? Bonus Answer: My old roommate played a joke on his at the time fiance about getting grease in his eye while frying eggs for their breakfast. She drove him to the ER, just to have his friends at the ER Waiting Room WAITING FOR HER to yell April Fools and throw plastic eggs at her.

April 1, 2012 4:19 am I don't think anyone is screaming how this series should be dead because the writing has dipped a little. This still is one of the top arcs in the New 52 and there is still a lot of possibility to be blown away. It's just what I said before, it felt like the first four issues dealt with a great connection and conflict of Manuel, His Faster Speeds, Mob Rule, the EMP, and they were handled and translated out beautifully. The past two issues just feel as if this is a bit of filler to give the Flash a short conflict with Capt Cold while he starts to work with the timerifts. Again, I still enjoy it greatly and it's still on my pull list. I just feel like something is missing in these past few as opposed to the first few issues of this run.

March 30, 2012 2:06 am I must say the art and dialogue are still great. Though the Mob Rule storyarc is still over, The Flash's timerift storyarc still has me greatly interested. This series and Batman are by far my two favorite series of DCNU. I gave this a 4/5 overall. It still feels a little empty to just deal with Captain Cold with a generic fight, but everything about this series is still making me look forward to the next issue.
