FanExpo 2012: J. Michael Straczynski & Eduardo Risso to Amaze and Astonish with BEFORE WATCHMEN: MOLOCH
August 27, 2012 10:20 am "Watchmen: 2012" might actually work.
I'm kind of hoping that the Dr. Manhattan series uses the "non-linear time" thing to hint at things in the "future" of the Watchmen universe.

FanExpo 2012: Geoff Johns & David Finch Team for JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA
August 26, 2012 3:57 pm Is this DC's version of Civil War, with a government controlled team going up against a "independent" super team? Steve Trevor = Iron Man, Superman = Cap?

Heads Up: DC Comics Previews – September 2012
June 15, 2012 12:53 pm The best Phantom Stranger I ever read was his hilarious cameos in Zatanna. When he "stepped out for a loaf of bread 5 years ago" and then inexplicably returns, loaf of bread in hand.
Team 7 sounds interesting. I always liked the black-ops side of Wildstorm, hopefully Lynch is a big a bastard as he's always been. When does T.A.O. show up in the new 52?

DC Comics Confirms Alan Scott of Earth 2 is Gay; Interview with James Robinson
June 1, 2012 2:26 pm I think DC lied when they said a "major character" would be gay. Ask anyone who isn't a huge comics fan who Alan Scott is, and you'll get a blank stare. Ask them who Green Lantern is, and they'll probably say Ryan Reynolds.
I'd say that DC already had a gay character who may be more recent, but is as well known and as significant as Alan Scott: Batwoman. Why no mention of her in this discussion? Is it because her book went off the rails when J.H.Williams III stopped drawing it?
