‘Young Justice’ – S02E03 – “Alienated”
May 13, 2012 6:53 am Pretty sure they just chose the heavey hitters so that it makes sense for 'The Team' to be the ones fighting the invasion and that if leagers are featured its second teir character that wouldnt get explored as much otherwise.

March 19, 2012 1:09 am WOW! Dealing with actual teen issues of self-image and secrets was really well done and i think younger viewers will relate to it despite the heavy emotions. Also love that way of modernising beast boys origin, actually makes more sense that he would know of so many animals and give a real connection to the current team considering how it seems there's no Doom Patrol in this universe.

Save the Date for ASTONISHING X-MEN #51
March 8, 2012 2:38 pm Personally I thought Peter Davids way of handling a gay relationship was totally sensationalised, the actual story was done ok but in every interview he made it out to be some massive step foward like we were still living in the 50s. However I agree that it looks as if this is going down the same route. Personally I think it would be much more foward thinking if they had what I'm guessing would be the first portrayal of gay marriage in marvel comics as just an off hand or maybe an off panel thing, like in the first new astonishing just 'by the way I got married' the whole point of marriage equality is so that whoever you marry its treated the same. The only part of this I'm looking foward to is if they adress what shi'ar attitudes to homosexuality are cause that would actually be interesting.

February 22, 2012 12:15 pm Wow I never thought I'd actually comment on good 'lighting' in comic book art, but this is the best for it I've seen possibly ever
