August 2, 2012 4:51 am I totally agree, the main problem with this event is that Marvel don't seem to care at all about their own history. As a big x-men fan i'm dissappointed that none of the characters past history is explored in any detail. I understand that you want to make it accessible to new readers, but if I were a new reader I wouldn't care about any of these guys because they have no depth. Also if the point is to be accessible, why bring in things like k'un l'un and never explain what they are?

July 19, 2012 6:31 am Not have characters risk their lives four an idea that they couldn't possibly know about. The X-men think the phoenix will regenerate their race... huh? Since when has the Phoenix done anything but try and destroy? Someone says that the pheonix is coming for hope and suddenly it is fact. The avengers have no reason to still pursue hope other than the writer wants them to. The worst thing about this event is that they are letting the plot rule the characters rather than let the characters and their motivations rule the direction of the story.

September 1, 2011 10:58 am I agree with everything said above, also I found the art here immense. Every page was detailed and beautiful. Hoping to see a lot more from this team.
