May 5, 2011 3:49 am It's late so I'm going to read this in the morning but the first part angered me. Not the part about Mr. Hughes no longer doing sketches but the part about the jerk to lied to get one and then sold it. It's people like him that make the rest of us look bad. I can't tell you the number of times I wanted something signed at a show and got the 'you're going to sell this online, aren't you' look. I hate that look but I know why I get it.
Not that any of the people who I've gotten signatures from will see this but of the dozens of things I have signed I have NEVER sold a single one. I never plan to and I fully appreciate each and every artist taking the time to do such a thing for me. I make it a point to thank the cretors I meet not only for the autograph but for giving me so many years of endless entertainment and joy. I want them to know how much I deeply appreciate their efforts.

May 5, 2011 3:04 am If they had an easter egg where we got a good Marvel Movie I would be excited. This underwear model with a hammer movie just doesn't look good at all.

May 5, 2011 3:02 am Not feeling the Howard voice. I think having a celebrity do his voice or any comic book characters voice in a movie (Silver Surfer) is a bad and plain stupid idea.

Not seeing Arnett as Bong and let's ban Alba from comic book movies...or just anything in general.

May 4, 2011 3:24 am It's like sliding into a train wreck. You know it's going to hurt and the outcome is going to suck but you can't do anything to stop it.

It's no way to get 'new fans' to check out the comics when the movies are a jumbled mixture of the good stuff and the 'ultimate' stuff.

...then there's the complete mess they made of Ghost Rider...

April 30, 2011 2:38 am Another fine article. If I didn't just get out of work I would read it all the way through but I'm certainly going to be reading it over this weekend. This is something I've been curious about for years.
