As part of the annual art auction at HeroesCon this year, Roger Langridge, writer of Thor: The Mighty Avenger has recreated artist Chris Samnee's cover for issue #6 of the series. The painted piece features my boyfriend Thor facing off with Fin Fang Foom on the rainbow bridge. HeroesCon starts June 3 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Thor and Captain America: The Mighty Fighting Avengers, by Langridge and Samnee, will be available at your local comic shop this Saturday, May 7 as part of Free Comic Book Day.

This is very cool!
Cool image. It will be great to see how much of Thor’s cosmic side makes it into the film. I guess for now I’m happy to meditate on the earthly social aspect of the character.
