May 12, 2011 10:09 am I really enjoyed it, though I do admit to being easily amused and pleased. As a reviewer I can see how the "as you know" bits could get old quick, but to me it's just a way of introducing the status quo of the story to the reader, and I wasn't bothered by it. I thought the art was beautiful, though to be fair I've never seen Kubert's previous work. When it comes down to it this could've been a horrendous book, but the simple fact that there is a Captain Marvel(ish) character found in Captain Thunder, I'll stick around and keep reading.

March 24, 2011 3:45 am I've never read a Fantastic Four comic, and really not even that big of a Marvel fan, but with the amount of praise surrounding this series and book, I'm definitely gonna go back to my comic shop tomorrow and pick up an issue of this.

January 20, 2011 1:53 am This series hasn't had a single lack luster issue since Winick's taken it's reins (not saying it had any before, I just didn't read them). But, I feel like this issue should've come out last week.

January 13, 2011 2:25 am Picked this up purely for the Action tie-in, but I was pleasently surprised by this book. All around good writing, pacing, and art. Thing that really sold me on it, and has me tempted to make this a regular book is Bane.

December 31, 2010 1:19 pm Story was more than pretty decent, a cool/creepy look at RF's life, him falling in love was especially creepy to me. But the art...ugh. Kolins is not for me. Hated the art.
