  1. I’m more than likely getting this. It’s just that:

    A) I read it in trade so I don’t pick it up regularly.
    B) Having said that, not sure if my shop will have an extra issue.

But the first two trades of this series was a lot of fun. So I’m sure Simone working with Cornell’s ideas will be also fun to read.

  2. My first single issue of Secret Six.  (I read it in trade, too.)  I am buying it for the cross-over, I’ll admit.

  3. part of me wants it for the Action Comics crossover…even though those tricks really irritate me.

  4. Action tie-in not withstanding, Secret Six seems to slip into my stack every few months …as this one shall.

  5. Just started reading this series a couple of issues ago, and it has been OUTSTANDING. Definitely going to need to track down the rest of the series in single issues when I am not dead broke anymore.

  6. Awesome cover.

  7. Is Action a must read before this?

  8. Getting this because of Action, but I’ve been meaning to jump on for a while. Love Simone.

Am I right in thinking this issue is followed up straight away by another crossover? THat might make jumping on awkward…

  9. Picked this up purely for the Action tie-in, but I was pleasently surprised by this book. All around good writing, pacing, and art. Thing that really sold me on it, and has me tempted to make this a regular book is Bane.

  10. Hopefully a good chunck of the “picked it up for the Action crossover” crowd will stick around!

  11. As someone who DOESN’T read Action Comics, I was really annoyed by this crossover.  Really confused for the first half.  Does this title need the numbers boost that badly?

  12. Probably the best handled crossover I’ve read in a long time. Didn’t pander but summed it up really well. Nice to see Simone’s voice on these characters. I’m going to have to assume this will be traded with Action though. Very good, a surprise 5/5 for me. Might have to give Secret Six a *third* go.

  13. @zattaric  A recap page might have been nice for people in your position, yeah. Ragdoll’s recap was entertaining, but not very accurate…

Well, I’m very much planning on sticking with Secret Six. Might skip next month’s Doom Patrol crossover, though…

  14. I didnt remember to pick up Action Comics first so im hoping i can understand with just this issue if not will have to try and find a copy or just accept it and move onto next issue depending on how much it intrigues me.
