April 13, 2010 8:01 am Well, they have too many Avengers books to just call it "The Avengers".
February 16, 2010 12:44 pm Between the Reborn debacle, the last issue's ham-handed politics and the impending return of Zemo that sounds like its ignoring most of Zemo's character development, the shine is off Brubaker's Captain America for me.

I agree with ColdVenom on Cap...both of them, really.

Between Marvel just blowing the ending of Cap Reborn, the heavy handed politics, the annoying back-up strip and the price increase, Cap went from Must-Buy to About To Drop in about a month.

 Great job.

July 13, 2009 9:08 pm Dang it.  This came out earlier than I expected.  I still need the last two Series 2 trades.

I will read because Brubaker has been insanely awesome thus far.

That said, BuckyCap has been awesome and I really don't want to see that end.

I'm fine with expanding the universe, but the art missed the "vampire" thing 90% of the time, and the story was just very flat.

Easily the worst comic I have bought in a very long time...if this were anything more than a one-shot, I would have dropped "Buffy" right there.

That was an amazing issue...right up until the completely cliched and pedestrian "twist" that was obvious a mile away.

I seriously have to drop this book.

March 17, 2009 1:49 am This one has been more consistently awesome, so I am expecting a strong ending.  This really has been the best Spider-Man book I have read in YEARS.
March 17, 2009 1:48 am @TehDave: Agreed.  The basic concept amuses me...but I dont REALLY care about Spawn, Savage Dragon, Youngblood, etc...just get it done, let Kirkman make his point, and get back to the awesome.
March 16, 2009 9:04 pm I feel like the book is finally back on track, so this should be fine.
