April 4, 2013 12:14 am I've also heard the cancellation rumors, which is a shame as this issue was concise and fun. Shame if this goes away, but I doubt there's a huge audience for this book.
April 4, 2013 12:13 am Remember guys, Rossmo was an untested property at one point! And while I love his art, the story is engaging enough that I'm on board for the long haul.
April 4, 2013 12:10 am This was wordy, but intelligent like the best Gillen books tend to be, and the art was very Avatar worthy (if you read Avatar regularly you know what I mean.) Yeah, it's a bit messy in places but I'm hoping it will all sort out nicely in the next couple issues...I've actually been waiting for this book for a year and at 48 pages for 3.50, it's worth the price of admission. Try this book!
March 21, 2013 9:54 pm Read this dang comic. Everybody. That's really all I can say, I think this is the comic I've been looking for for years.
March 8, 2013 1:54 am Will, I understand your concerns, but if Stokoe got a flat fee, what issues exactly do you have problems with? And - not - saying Stokoe doesn't have legitimate gripes, but I feel I've read both sides of their battle at this point, and I can honestly say we got something wonderful out of it, if a little delayed. They'll both continue working in comics, and it's not as if bad blood between two creators is unheard of. Maybe i'm being too nice to all sides?
March 8, 2013 1:52 am This book is great! I backed the original Kickstarter and although my shop had copies before I had mine, I got a digital copy months ahead of that. I realize there have been...issues between writer and artist and I won't get into that. I WILL say, if you get a chance to buy it in your LCS, do so! It's a fun book, and i have love for both creators, so i'll pimp this book and try to steer away from the politics.
February 28, 2013 7:33 pm This is a fun little comic that's pretty quirky and intellectually stimulating.
February 7, 2013 9:19 pm Run and tell that! The Canadians are the new wave of British comics creators. Or something.
February 7, 2013 9:18 pm Sadly, Diamond shorted my shop all copies of this. WTG Diamond! Even a monopoly on distribution can't create competence.
December 11, 2012 10:15 pm This book has been a really, really slow burn, but I love the character so much! Nobody has been able to do Thunderbolt justice in...many a year, I'm going to stick with Dynamite's brilliant art and dense storytelling, and hope it pays off.
