An interesting premise, ‘quantum leap’ meets an old Kirby romance comic, and despite that it works very well. For a first issue, this not only introduced the main characters and gave you the necessary backstory to jump right in, but also provided enough action for a first issue without sacrificing the story. Wiebe definitely balances these aspects well, and the art was complementary. Add to that a bonus backup story by an additional creative team, and you have a comic that fulfills it’s stated premise and leaves you wanting more.

    Ever since I discovered Green Wake I have always considered Kurtis Wiebe to be an up and coming talented write. I just adored that book and how many layers there were to it. This one caught my attention and glad to see that people are enjoying it. From the descriptions sounds like a really fun read. Will definitely have to check it out and I encourage others to as well.
