I’m giving this pick of the week status for all the guest artist and stories contained within. From old Image house style to new Image favorites and everything in between, this is a fun bridge the gap issue of a comic that ended up having legs!

  1. What’s the premise for this comic? I was thinking about what a “Coast to Coast AM” (if you know what that is) comic would look like and then I remembered “Hoax Hunters”. Is this series about people investigating the paranormal?

  2. Hi there! I just came across this and figured I’d chime in–I’m Michael, co-creator and writer of Hoax Hunters. To answer your question, Hoax Hunters is all about the paramornal. It’s kind of like X-Files meets Mythbusters. In a nutshell, Hoax Hunters is a reality show where the hosts travel the world dispelling various myths, folklore, monsters, etc. But all those things really do exist, and it’s the job of the Hoax Hunters to cover them up.

You can actually read some of it free, serialized on Keenspot. The entire zero issue is up right now and #1 will begin next week.

Oh, and I love Coast to Coast!
