The story is perfectly balanced, with linguistic abilities shining through as evidenced by the clear, concise use of different modes of dialect for the two heroes and also their shlubby vessel. Add to this a couple of shadowy villains, the framework of a larger story, and two of the best superhero names ever in Boy Chimney and Captain Lachrymose. Throw in solid artwork with clever use of camera angles and split-page montages, and this is one solid read.
