I’ve been collecting IDW Transformers since the beginning and was hesitant on the new directions. That being said I’m back…

@Rustyautoparts

Have they said that it's before #38? Because I would almost look at 38-40 as being Robinson closing out McDuffie's run and playing with some Blackest Night tie-ins. As far as #41 goes though where we see the new team; I think that that comes out of Cry of Justice.

November 27, 2009 2:27 pm I'm still convinced that this is post blackest night with Roy getting his arm taken off and unless Mauro Casciolli is just painting Jason white and changing his costume that's without a doubt Ronnie.

Getting into a little speculation...

I was curious about the whole Jason Rusch looking like Ronnie Raymond myself particularly because it's Ronnie's suit and not Jasons. Has James Robinson stated when this series takes place? I'm asking because I'm curious if it's pre or post Blackest Night. What I'm hoping happens in Blackest Night goes back to Kevin Smiths Green Arrow run where Ollie was empty and needed his soul to become full again. I'm hoping that Geoff John's goes with that where it would be a good way to bring back dead heroes and have it mean something without making their deaths any less special. So without rambling on too long I hope this possibly might be post Blackest Night and that would explain the Hawks & Ronnie. All they would have needed was Ralph in the place of Plastic Man.

Thoughts anyone?

Hoping someone can help...

Who was the red-head at the end holding the frame and what's her story?

Either I don't remember the previous issues or as my recollection goes we haven't seen her yet in this storyline. I'm sure knowing Robinson it's another Silver or Golden age character he's pulling out and I'm also guessing she has something to do with the Legion because of "the future".

I agree!

Alpha Lanterns...OWNED!

I think the condescending nature of Salaak made it all the better!

August 18, 2009 1:16 am That's what I was thinking but as it seems with good writers juggling 3 books isn't that unbelievable. At one point he was writing The Order, Casanova, Punisher War Journal, Immortal Iron Fist (which granted was with Brubaker) and a handful of one-shots. I'm just hoping that Gillen will have a great 6 issue run and it will give Fraction enough leeway to get some issues in the bag if he already hasn't. I guess I'm just being hopeful since the feeling I get while reading Fraction's stories with Marvel is the same feeling I get reading Geoff Johns at DC. They can both do no wrong in my book.
August 18, 2009 12:59 am As good a writer as Kieron Gillen is I was really hoping for Matt Fraction. But then again I wouldn't be surprised if he's taking over after the 6 issues.
August 16, 2009 10:50 am I'm wondering who Dani's meeting in vegas. The sign translates to "Abandon all hope, Ye who enter." I was hoping they'd be calling in the help of Magneto since the middle of Vegas would probably be the last place he'd be but now it's up in the air.
