March 21, 2012 10:41 am Hahahaha, this was my first thought too
March 21, 2012 10:38 am I was enjoying Deadpool for a while, but dropped it during that awful psychiatrist arc, but this arc seems pretty intriguing

February 14, 2012 1:19 am New Mutants is actually my favourite team of all time, I have all the Claremont trades that are out and I loved Zeb Wells's run, but I have really disliked, maybe even hated, Abnett and Lanning's run, which I feel is really unfortunate because I usually like their work, but it really seems that they're pretty clueless about the personalities of the characters and their histories, it seems like the only research they've done is Wikipedia.
February 11, 2012 4:34 am Sorry for being nitpicky, but the title of this book is actually "Worlds' Finest". The placement of the apostrophe indicates not only the fact that this series is about more than one world, but is also of course a clever play on the classic title "World's Finest"
February 7, 2012 7:14 am My main gripe with this book is merely the fact that the Stephanie Brown Batgirl written by Brian Q Miller was pretty much my favourite DC title for a really long time. This is a decent book, but it's really nothing compared to what it replaced.
February 5, 2012 9:25 am There have already been loads of Sandman spin-offs without Gaiman, written by people like Ed Brubaker and Bill Willingham, and none of them have been terrible or gotten unfavourable feedback.
January 20, 2012 8:26 am What, no Ballad Of Halo Jones?
January 20, 2012 3:48 am I agree on some counts and disagree on others. W&X-Men: It seems silly and the whole premise seems a little forced, but I'm willing to stick with it. (And by stick with it, I mean borrow issues from my friends, because I decided I didn't need to add another x-book to my pull list). X-Men:L Dropped it as soon as Carey left the book, he was the only thing keeping me on, even though the space stuff was not to my taste at all, and seemed to drag on. New M: DnA are building a bland, silly team that has its own identity and doesn’t feel like the New Mutants. X-F: Dropped it a long, long, long time ago. X-Men: I don't hate it, but I don't particularly love it either. Unc. X: I like the team, but I feel that I actually might be missing Fraction, Gillen doesn't really do it for me. Gen Hope: I dropped it early on, but am considering picking it up again now that the creative team has changed. Unc XFo: In my opinion, this is the best book Marvel is putting out right now Ast X: This book has been forgettable arc after forgettable arc ever since whedon left, but yeah, I'm a fan of liu and I definitely want to see what she can do with the book.
January 18, 2012 9:00 am The only character that even seems like themself is Dani, everybody else is wildly out of character, and so far in this run it seems to me like the only way DnA have been able to get into the characters heads has been by using one of the laziest plot devices ever, which is bringing in a shrink to talk to them.
