While I enjoyed this story, and have been enjoying the last few stories, I still hate this whole Brand New Day thing. It's been done as best as an idea this horrible can be done, I suppose. Have they explained why Harry is alive in this reality yet? What exactly is different in Peters past? It's obviously not just the marriage if Harry is kicking about.

 As much as I hate being the guy going on about continuity, so much has just been thrown out with no explanation I can't ignore it. It ruins every issue for me, even though it's such good stuff. :(

May 20, 2008 5:42 pm I am loving the Nick Fury stuff. I absolutely love how he's been missing all this time, yet still has a plan to defeat the Skrulls. Now that's the Fury I remember.
May 2, 2008 6:52 pm Does anyone else think that after the way they built up 'The Leader', the ending was a bit... anticlimactic?  I was enjoying this miniseries and all, but the ending was lackluster.
April 29, 2008 12:44 pm Boy do I feel stupid. How did I miss that?

Looking forward to this. Just started reading Ex Machina and I've gotten all caught up.

 I have a question though: A couple of months ago, before I started reading Ex Machina properly, I picked up an issue to see what it was like, and the story was about Mitchell seeing ghosts in his office... I can't find the issue now, and I can't for the life of me remember what it was. When I went back and got caught up I couldn't see it anywhere... not in any of the specials, nowhere, and I know I didn't miss an issue. Anyone got any idea what it was I read? :S

@RolandofGilead

Frank Quitely is the professional pseudonym of Scottish artist Vincent Deighan. The name is a spoonerism of the phrase 'quite frankly'.

So two Scotsmen are making one of the greatest comic books out right now? Ahh, it makes a man proud to be a Scotsman. :)

March 20, 2008 7:09 pm I know I wanted Thor to interact with the rest of the Marvel Universe (I mean, I always assumed his return would be a pretty big deal, but no one seems to have cared so far, except Iron Man turning up for five minutes...) but I think I agree with Tazz - I have seen enough Iron Man over the last few years to make my head explode
March 20, 2008 7:04 pm It has to end. I'm sure of it. All this does is make me feel bad for poor Peter Parker, :(. Come on, he's in his mid to late twenties, lives in his elderly (by this point extremely elderly, surely!) aunts house, has no real job, and no meaningful relationships. But hey! At least he's a superhero... right?... Guys?
March 16, 2008 6:03 pm Why is this not as good as 52? That's all I have to say about Countdown. But I still read it, because y'know... it's has to do with Final Crisis! With Grant Morrison! And surely Final Crisis won't be as bad as this, right?

Haha, I must be the only guy in the world who really enjoys the Sentry. Well, I enjoy the concept (ridiculously powerful superhero with mental problems) maybe not the execution. This has to be the best Sentry thing I've read in a while, since the original Sentry mini.

 Also, loved the Doc Doom/Iron Man banter in this one. Brilliant.
