November 7, 2011 4:58 pm I agree... Wonder Woman #1 was my first Wonder Woman book, and I didn't feel there was some continuity I needed to know. The "new reader friendly" argument is so pointless. Who are these elusive new readers we all talk about but never show up? Who cares...
November 7, 2011 4:48 pm So far, for me, this book has been lacking the crazy "Frankenstein killing Hitler" moments that made the Flashpoint mini so fun. I trust Lemire though, and maybe this is just a slow start to set things up. Totally agree with you though, the Creature Commandos are awesome...
November 7, 2011 4:26 pm I like the word balloon on the cover. More importantly, I've always wondered and maybe one of you out there know... does Norman Osborn have a perm? Some kind of corn rows? His hair has always been a mystery to me. (I think this is a sign I have a problem)

November 1, 2011 11:20 pm I am mostly a DC reader as well, and I have been enjoying the X-books too. That price difference has been prohibitive for me though. It adds up. Still, I may have to get this book... looks like some interesting conflict on this team. Wolverine and the X-men was a lot fun.
November 1, 2011 11:01 pm This feels like a slow burn, and I'm ok with that. I'm willing to see where Snyder goes with this. I'm also enjoying Yanick Paquette's layouts, and I am looking forward to seeing what Francesco Francavilla does on this book in a few issues.
November 1, 2011 10:48 pm My thoughts exactly. I have always wanted to feel this excited about Superman book.
