April 17, 2008 12:14 am The fact that Orion was there was not really the problem.  The problem was that there was no character development for Jimmy Olsen.  Countdown was partly a build up to this moment and they took it away from jimmy. What was the point of giving Jimmy this story arc if nothing happens with it. Also, you just know that darkseid is coming back.  Is it not darkseid's eyes I see in the preview for Final Crisis on page 12 of Countdown 2?

April 10, 2008 2:23 am I really liked this issue,b ut my pick of the week was Echo #2.  The art in that comic was fantastic and the story was fun.  I now feel ashamed for having never picked up Strangers in Paradise.

April 8, 2008 11:47 am The story and art have been fantastic which makes this my favorite DC book right now.  I hope that Kingdom Come Superman sticks around for a while.

April 7, 2008 7:02 pm Is Churchill the regular artist?  I saw in previews that the 3rd issue is drawn by Joe Benitez.  Seems kind of soon for him to take a break.

April 3, 2008 7:13 pm I thought that the art mediocore.  The problem is the story, which has been a gigantic waste of time.  The great diaster was rat people and a dog with a knife.  Mary Marvel's change of mind about eclipso's power was as AlexG said contrived and the scene with Darkseid waiting on Mary Marvel's couch for her was hilariously stupid.  How long was he waiting there for her?  What is even sadder for Darkseid is that he could have boom tubed in when she was about to enter the door and then rushed to sit down to make it seem like he was waiting for her.  How patheic is that.  All I have left to say is Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
