February 21, 2009 11:12 pm the only thing I found distracting about the art is that it is inconsistant at times.  Duke at one point kept switching from pants to shorts and then back to pants.  Only a minor complaint as i thought the story was pretty good.  I liked what they did with the bad guy wearing the face from the painting.  Though i am not sure who it is supposed to be yet.  Is it cobra commander or zartan, could be dr. mindbender with the whole psychology degree thing. (though he looked a little beefy to be him).   They didnt say did they?

January 30, 2009 8:20 am would it be to hard for every book DC puts out during an event to actually take place during the event.  I want to know what happens off panel, how people got to where they were.  It just seems that event books are not even going on at the same time everything else is going on.  I dont want, for instance, to read JSA 22 where they are finishing up with GOG then read final crisis 6 and 7 where the world is falling apart and then pick up JSA 23 and they are back dealing with the aftermath with GOG like nothing in the event even happend.  I think that would sell a lot more books that people would normally not read if it would give them a better understanding of what is actually going on.  Maybe they did do this with some books, but not the ones I read.  So sorry if my comment/idea is inaccurate.
