Talk about ur crazy coincendences, I almost bought this book about 20 minutes ago at Borders. Insane!! I did however purchase Burnout, a couple days ago, another book from Minx. And really enjoyed. Anyone else read it?? If Burnout is any indication of the quality of books coming out of Minx, count me in for The New York Four and rest of the Minx line.

The trailer looks great and it looks like its going to be a good movie. I was even surprised during the credits before Dark Knight seeing this trailer and my younger brother, who has never even heard of Watchmen,  turned to me after the trailer and said, "that looks like an awesome movie."

Personally I just hope Zach Snyder doesn't make another 300 with Watchmen. And I know they are not even in the same genre, but some scenes in the trailer felt a little like 300 to me.

I am looking forward to it though.

Yeah. Mmhmmm. Definitely awesome. This was a great movie. The Joker was probably my favorite in this movie. He was nasty, scary, funny, smart, all the things i had come to hope for with all of the hype leading up to today.

There was one thing that took me out of the movie. During the whole action car chase scene after Harvey gives himself up as Batman and he is in the armored car. Where was the music?? You get so used to hearing heartpounding music during intense car chase scenes like that. It didn't really make the whole car chase bad, but I thought it was really strange. 

Other than that, it was fantastic and I'll be going again.

This book is one of my guilty pleasures. Admittedly I was one of those people who bought pretty much every Civil War book and sebsequently every book after just to see what happens. That being said more than a year later, I miss all that money I dropped, but at the same time i do enjoy this book. I will say that it is disappointing the book doesn't really matter in the marvel universe, but I just don't care anymore. It's one of those books u can just sit down and have a good time with, while not worrying about the ramifications of what happens in the book.

I love the Steve Uy's art and the coloring on some of the issues has been awesome.

Batman, Action Comics, Green Lantern, Thor, New Avengers, Teen Titans, And Uncanny. Unfortunately for I have given up on my store for the simple fact that they never have the books I most want to read. If it's not the big 2, then forget about it and sometimes even then they don't have what i want. And the guy can't keep my pull list straight!!!! So its mailordercomics.com for this guy. And I don't get my books for May until next week. On the other hand it do enjoy the comics binge. 

BQ: Either Batman or New Avengers. Batman for the pure enjoyment for this new arch. New Avengers because I want something to happen with Secret Invasion.
