September 12, 2011 9:42 pm @glwarm76: Spider-man and Captain America can quit, characters change especially in a time of overwhelming FEAR. I actually found the fact that spider-man and Captain America quitting to be intriguing. Characters are not set in stone and rigid, they are human and just like us can change in certain settings. I guess I will put my opinion here, Fear Itself is alright, not terrible. I enjoyed the Flashpoint main series more but the art here is just so so so so much better. However, the Flashpoint tie ins ended terribly, pretty much all having the same conclusion of SEE FLASHPOINT 5. I think the fear itself tie ins have been more fun such as The Deep or Youth in Revolt and so on.
September 9, 2011 2:33 am Red Skull is such a depressing book but I can't stop reading it. This issue did not give me much of a shock as the end of issue two....still gives me chills.
September 1, 2011 12:37 pm I wasn't going to pick up I, Vampire at all when I first heard it was announced but when I saw some preview of the art, I added it instantly to my list. My god it looks to be a beautiful book,
August 17, 2011 11:06 pm Avengers was POTW and it was a fear itself tie in. That is all I can remember at this time

August 14, 2011 10:13 pm I am no way defending Fear Itself, I just wanted to bring up a thought on the review where it stated that Spider-man and Cap were acting out of character. Since there enemy is the God of Fear, he is most likely manipulating and intensifying the fears of these heroes causing them to act against their normal ways and submit to defeat. Just a thought! Anyways, great show!
August 11, 2011 5:39 pm Great panels! That Batman & Robin is damn creepy. One of my favorite panes was in America Vampire Survival of the Fittest #3 when Dr. Pavel was about to begin his presentation, the whole room was dark, and in the dark you saw the glow of the red vampire eyes. So creepy!
August 9, 2011 4:03 pm I really like this book monthly but I feel like I will get more out of it once I reread the series as a whole at various points such as 25 issues in or 50 issues in.
