FIRST LOOK: T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents #1 Cover & Solicit

T.H.U.N.D.E.R.! T.H.U.N.D.E.R.! T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents! Ho!!!!!!

Once an agent of T.H.U.N.D.E.R. is born, he begins to die, killed by the very same methods used to give him superhuman strength or speed. We knew Nick Spencer’s inventive re-imagining of the T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents would someday meet a similar fate, but we were devastated to learn it would happen so soon. But the series’ absence from the list of September’s relaunch titles was just a bit of cloak and dagger. The T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents return in late November for more quadruple crosses and subterfuge. And we’ve got your first look at Andy Kubert’s pink hot new cover for the first issue!

That’s the question this new 6-part miniseries will explore as the team must face off against the Warlord and his Subterraneans! Comments

  1. I think this time I am going to give this series a try

  2. A mini? Awww…

Still, should be awesome. I’m not familiar with Wes Craig…

  3. A six-issue limited series? Looks fun. And debuting in late November gives my wallet time to regenerate its mighty budgetary powers after the shock it’s going to receive in September. I just Googled artist Wes Craig. He’s got the chops. Count me in.

  4. Wait… I thought Nick Spencer was a Marvel exclusive writer now…

  5. The finale to this book left me wanting more. Defintley will be picking this up. Pretty cover as well.

  6. good news , it felt like this was not how the story was suppose to end.

  7. Glad we’ll be getting more, even if it is a mini.

  8. Great book so far, and I’ve loved the rotating art teams, which is presumably something that’s going away with this new series. Bit of a shame to see it limited to a mini tho’. Presumably this is low sales vs critical/fan acclaim?

  9. What else has Wes Craig worked on? I feel like I’m familiar with his art, but I can’t place where else I’ve seen it.

  10. I’m glad to see this title back as a mini. Some books don’t need to be ongoing to have success. I can remain a faithful reader without a strain on my wallet. Also the stories can have a stronger focus without being bogged down with the culture of being open ended.

    • I agree, especially with this book. The first volume, which kind of is a mini itself now, worked so well as a self contained story. And it was pretty phenomenal. Patiently awaiting this new series.
