I liked where this book was going right from the start: "You're not Thor! Someone call Thor!" Here's Bob, the most powerful hero in the Marvel U (?), offering his services only to be cut down by fleeing victims.

I'm a little confused by what takes place thereafter. Bob lets go the bank robbery and prevents a kamikaze skrull ship from impacting the Baxter Building, ship explodes, cut to Reed's infirmary? Makes sense, or doesn't it?

It's rather abrupt and a little odd. Reed seems just a little out of character. Think he's gramatically incorrect when he states, "there (is) billions of skrulls". I don't know. Do skrulls have poor grammar habits? Who do you trust? Ben seems pretty normal and I love his shirt. BTW: what the hell's a "bastach"?

On to Avengers Tower -

Mmmm, Carol. Those better be lowfat muffins, Skrull Jarvis, you bastach?!

Now I gotta say, sure, Tony trusts Jarvis, but what exactly does he hope to find among the Avengers files to better serve the Reynolds: Whether or not Bob prefers one or two lumps with his coffee? Maybe whether he'd rather have the crust of his bread removed? Not to be condescending toward Jarvis, but damn I wish I could've smacked Tony upside his head here. Guess I'm just a little confused by where this "Months Ago" falls into the overall time line. Forgive me if Im a bit suspiscious.

At this point the issue begins to shed line on the flagship book. I'm glad it did. Nice to see a tie-in book tie'ing in. I didn't get the scene with Bob and the Vision. Now I do. However, I have no idea what that blotch in Saturn's ring is. Feel free to clue me in if you know.

I really like the ending. I care about what's happening with the Sentry now. The price on his head has probably doubled after the release of this issue considering his increased relevance to the story. People are still gonna hate him. I'm gonna give him a chance.
