If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. That motto should have be used for this book. Since the NuDCU began, Earth 2 and the JSA had not been mentioned. Now we get an Earth 2 book and it seems like that they don’t want to have the classic look. JSA was always great because it was a combination of Golden Age heroes and legacy characters. James Robinson was very successful with that model. The book was fun and explored how confusing DC continuity was. This title feels forced. Its using the same model for Justice League but with a twist that feels forced. I don’t want to read 8 possible issues for the team to form. The art was mixed in my opinion, but I got used to it. This title needed a classic/Kirby look to it, not a Jim Lee style. I will give this book one more issue.
