Holy mother of god, what an amazingly beautiful book.

I know when I saw the preview pages originally, I was blown away, but then they were there for a month or two and it kept getting postponed and all the innovation became common place from seeing it all the time, but reading this book. So amazing.

I really can't describe how mad I am that this isn't ongoing, it is so unique to the Bat mythos.

Not the female member or her sexuality, that's all ancillary.

his book actually has someone wearing the Bat cowl with a functional relationship with their father. Tim Drake was the last character that was this close to one and his parents and step parents were killed off to add gravitas or some such. It's just so different that it makes this book different in every way and so good because of it.

 I wish it was still Bruce in the cape and cowl, just because the 13th coven thing would have been that more impressive.

As for the Question back up, still awesome. It had the right amount of Rorschach-iness to it, with the quiet detective work.

Cully Hammer dirtied up his pencils just enough to make it fitting.

 This book was pushed back so many times I got burned out waiting for it, but now that it's here I can't wait for the next one.
