An exciting issue that managed to settle me back in after an arc that left me unsure that I’d continue with the series.

Unfortunately the stuff I liked in this issue (and the Detective run), mainly the family dynamic of Kate, her dad and her backstory, don’t seem to be the focus of the ongoing series which seems more interested in the supernatural goings on, but I hope that a character with as much scope as this gets a chance to be fully explored and stand on her own without falling into the main Bat-families shadow, as can happen with these strong-start characters.

Batwoman is surely the character that should continue the Batman Inc idea. Get her free of Gotham and out making her mark in the world.
