This was my favorite of all the #0 DC issues. This character and this book is one of the major successes of the DCU New 52. Sure, you learn only a few new things about Kate Kane and her universe; but the way this issue is framed narratively and spectacularly drawn just makes you smile. The issue gives us more insight into the father/daughter relationship as well as shows more of the impact her DADT dismissal of her origin really caused her to drift and then refocus herself. Can’t recommend this issue and this overall book and its Rucka predecessor more!
