  1. Ok, this weekly gets one more shot from me.

  2. Yeah, this is the last test issue for me. If I don’t like after this one I’m done.

  3. If only to see where the Green Lantern thing is going

  4. Maybe the last issue, we’ll see…

  5. I find it hard to believe that with all the $#!^ going down around them, Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman call each other to talk about their bad dreams. Kicking off with a weak premise isn’t good momentum for a 52 part story. Count me out.

  6. I seem to be in the same spot as everyone else, in that this is the issue that has to win me over.

  7. It coulda been something great but I feel it let me down, if they want a weekly they should do a JSA or a JLA one.

  8. Hmm, ill be a bit more lenient and give it two more weeks. I figure a month is enough time for me to decide if i like it or not.

  9. Last shot for me too.  Then I have to find the other DC stuff recommended to me before I give up on the lot of them.

  10. its funny how, despite all of the whining, its still the most pulled book of the week.. I’m gunna stick with it for a while longer.

  11. I’m out. This book just isn’t for me.  I don’t know if I think its exactly Bad, but the first two issues bored me.  Think I’ll give Spiderman a shot as a (nearly) weekly book this week.

  12. for a weekly it seems like the first month is a good judge so I’ll give it 2 more books then decide.

  13. I’ll stick with it for probably two more weeks. Or I might just see this through the end of sheer habit. Hopefully it’s actually good if I end up doing the latter.

  14. I’ll give it a few more issues to win me over. I really don’t wanna fall into the same "I’ve paid for & read this much, so I should see it through, even though it’s crap" trap that I fell into with Countdown.

  15. I will at least give it three months .    Because I know that it is a weekly book so it is going to take a little longer to get going.

  16. If this issue doesn’t improve then I’m dumping this faster than a dead hooker down a disused well!

  17. I guess I’m in the minority, but I dig Busiek working with the big three.  Count me in for the foreseeable future.

  18. I couldn’t do it…I had every intention of picking this up, but didn’t. If the ifanbase says this title is crucial, I’ll come back, but for now, dropped.

  19. Man this book sucked this week. The book is called Trinity – Superman/Batman/Wonder Woman – and we get exactly 4 pages of them in the whole issue! What a joke. One more week. Maybe.

  20. I don’t kow , seeing the Justice League getting their ass handed too them is always a plus for me.  I liked the second story too. I don’t see what the problem is.

  21. @alexG me too. I picked it up, looked at it and then put it back. I wanted to give it another chance, but when it came down to it, I just didn’t want to read it.

  22. I was only going to give this book 3 weeks to grab me.  This issue didn’t totally win me over, but it’s got me for another week.  I didn’t care much for the B story though.

  23. I must be a sucker, because I didn’t like this issue, but feel like I should read a few more to see where things go, and as a DC fan I don’t wanna feel like I’m "missing anything" … I did the same thing with Countdown & we all know where that went …

I guess it’s crazy to eat shit with a spoon & expect it start to taste good soon … twice.

  24. At this point, I’d rather the book go biweekly, and just sandwich the first half of the book into one biweekly issue. Or make it $1.50 and take out the crappy second half of the book. I’ll likely drop this book after next week. I feel that’s a fair shot.

  25. Tough crowd here.  I’m 99% sure I’ll buy every single issue…they’ll have to do something really horrible to get me to drop it, but they’re going to have to do a lot more to keep me from complaining if I’m not hooked by issue 10.  If this book were $2.50 or even 2.75 it’d make keeping this series on my list a no-brainer.

It’s Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman in every issue…I can’t drop it so easily.

  26. I’m not digging the second-half of the book format at all.

And Wonder Woman looks weird as hell most of the time.

But this issue was certainly more interesting than the first 2.

I’ll probably pick up the next issue.

  27. This isn’t to be chastised. The book is fine. It is what it is and that’s fine by me. I don’t expect too much from it. Just a "new"(?) story featuring DC’s top characters on a regular basis. Which is more than Countdown ever offered. Most of you ought to just give up now. I assure you it’s not going to blow your doors off anytime soon, if ever. There is no "huge" payoff coming. Just an entertaining weekly read for people who want something new from DC.

Seeing Wonder Woman on the cover makes me wonder something: wonder it they’re real?

  28. What the hell is with Wonder Woman’s anime eyes?  Especially in the last pages when she looks over her shoulder at Superman’s fight?  Weird.

  29. Man I just am not enjoying this at all. The backup stories aren’t interesting, the art isn’t great, the story is dull and the villains are completely forgettable. I’m dropping it as of this issue.

  30. I made a pact (with myself) to collect this for two months and then decide if I was enjoying it.  So far, it hasn’t been anything special.  Not terrible, but not that great.

I did enjoy seeing Jose though…bring on Gangbuster!

  31. "If this issue doesn’t improve then I’m dumping this faster than a dead hooker down a disused well!"

quotes like this fone from Sam Morgan means i’m out of here.

    Last straw.

The stench of misogeny coming from the US comic industry and some readers has just become too overwhelming for me. Don’t know why i bother joining in at all.

  32. Lets see , this is the most pulled book week ( most Sales I am guessing ) and the most hated at the same time?     What kind of message does that send to DC?

  33. Week 1: 497 pulls
    Week 2: 438
    Week 3: 384

    It’s going down pretty fast.

  34. I hate not reading a story to the end, so I guess I’m in for the long haul. I’m not as disappointed as the rest of you in this book, probably because I didn’t have high expectations going in. It’s not really THAT bad of a book. So far it seems a little generic and old-fashioned, but I don’t hate it. I don’t love. it’s just kind of there. So for the foreseeable future, I’m sticking with it. Has it ever been announced if this is 52 issues?

  35. The art is typical of Bagely – solid, pretty clear story-telling, but not overly fancy or overly rendered.  The back up artists (Norton and Ordway in this issue) have been solid but have offered a different artistic tone from Bagely – and from each other – each issue.  I liked Norton and Ordway in particular this issue.  I loved 52, but found Countdown to be terribly inconsistent and really poorly written.  So far, Trinity has shown some promise for holding my interest – the villians are intersting, the stories have been fun and moved well.  I thought issue #2 was a bit confusing and I had to reread portions to completely follow along, but this issue read well and I had fun reading it.  I don’t expect it to be as charming as 52 but I hope the story wears better than Countdown.  So far so good.
