I love Sweet Tooth
I’m not gonna lie, my interest in this book has waned a bit over time. I still love it when I read it, but I don’t feel excited when its in my pile.
Last week was a little by the numbers. It was a good issue, but nothing really stood out.
The prospect of huge action though might make this a better issue. Also, the advance solicts (and tweets by Lemire) makes me excited for the future.
My interest is also waning. But I’m happy that Lemire is taking his time. This is consistently solid.
I’ve been wanting to read this book. It looks like there is a trade every 5 issues, so would it be safe to pick this one up? I cant find where this current story line ends.
my interests are soooooo far from waning. This book is definitely my favorite title out there right now…and i’m willing to fight anyone here. Yep. good ‘ol fashioned fistacuffs.

@looski I think this is half way through the 3rd story arc, animal army I think it’s called. Captivity, the 2nd arc was longer than the first arc as it had an interlude. I know the code of the site is kinda jump on any book any time and you certainly could, but try to get the back issues to cause they’ve been great.
@looski Start with the interlude Zeppo said (issue 12) because that catches up a bit from the beginning.
This book continues to be extremely solid and have wonderful covers.
Im ready to see Jeppard lay some hurt on people already!

Dang, few artists do a fight like Lemire. Great issue.
Lemire packed so many brilliant artistic moments in just this single issue that it blows my mind. From the framing of the attacks while Jepperd does his talk on remembering faces, to the clue breakdown scene in Singh’s lab, and of course down to those final few pages of the fist fight.
All expert storytelling simply through visual imagery that’s only aided by Lemire’s great writing.
Easily one of my favorite books out right now. Love Lemire.
The “To Be Concluded” refers to the story arc, right? RIGHT?!
@DarthDuck That seems a safe assumpsion. I haven’t heard any rumblings that would make me think otherwise.
@DarthDuck Definitely. The next several issue have been solicited and Lemire has said that he plans to do 40 or so issues or more if he needs to.
This was freaky, creepy, and bad ass. I think this story arc has really kicked this book into high gear and made it a must read.
In a world of chaos, it is comforting to know that Sweet Tooth will be great each issue that comes out. Thank you, Jeff.
