Not sure what this cover means, but if it’s like a sitcom I image Jepperd saying:
"Gus! You got some splanin’ to do!"
I would watch that sitcom (once).
Well in the last issue Jeppard was going back to the compund with the two hookers. Probably to tear up s***(hence the blood on the knuckles). And after will probably run into little Gus who will be lost….Gus looks like a deer caught in headlights here…..couldnt resist.But I like the sitcom approach better…..:)
@chtobias I am impressed Lemire has gone this far without visually using that phrase.
Tune in next week to an all new episode of "Frankly my Deer…" to see what shenanigans Gus and friends get themselves into!
God I love this book. Definite creator crush on this character.

Loved the dream sequence in this, cleverly designed. But more of the same, great comic booking by Jeff Lemire. Can’t say much else.

This was spectacular! One of the best single issues of the year! That page where jeppard and Gus are sleeping and the panel split to show they were under the same sky was brilliant!
Certinaly the best issue in a while. It moved the story on forward at a fast, understandable pace. This was my pick of the week, though I did enjoy Superboy as well.
The art was great, and the atmosphere is very tense.
I didn’t get this issue. This was the first issue in a long time below a 4/5 for me. This was a 2/5 for me. Maybe it’s time to switch to trades on this.
