Although Harbinger is Valiant’s team book, Josh Dysart has been doing some fantastic character work within these pages. Starting with…

While the story is certainly escalating in this issue, the art has fallen flat and then some. Kirkman is obviously…

August 7, 2013 10:43 pm Based on your pull list, I'd recommend x-o manowar and harbinger. Harbinger starts a bit rough but the second arc is Dysart doing some fantastic character work. I like archer and armstrong as well.
August 7, 2013 10:36 pm They don't need to write a blurb about the business relationship at all. I figured this book might have a shot at potw at some point if josh gave it a try. They really haven't talked about any valiant books and I figured that may have had a tad to do with the ads. There have been many excellent valiant books that I enjoyed a ton more than any of the previous potws, but they never got mentioned on the podcast at all (probably because tyey arent reading them). This book makes ifanboy sense though. While many comic sites seem to write reviews for crappy books using tons of praise and colorful one-liners seemingly just to get their website mentioned on a cover or a trade, ifanboy always gives honest reviews...... even if they are wrong.
March 21, 2013 6:51 pm Oh Hell Yeah! It's time for Quantum & Woody, noogies!
February 21, 2013 6:37 pm Cool. Is this a mini?
February 21, 2013 1:56 pm Cool, Paul. Glad to hear that.
February 21, 2013 1:40 pm It's a shame there are no ifanboys reading this book. This was another fantastic character study. They are knocking it out of the park on this book.
February 13, 2013 9:01 pm This reprints the 4 or 5 pages that were in the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund book as well as issue #27. If you've read both of those, you are wasting money buying this for new story content. I don't know if the CBLDF content has been collected in trades or HCs yet, but I imagine it will be if it hasn't. It's not really that great of a few pages anyway.
February 13, 2013 9:22 am I'm on board for the trades, but when I saw this cover, I absolutely had to pre-order it. All of the covers have been beautiful, but this one is iconic.
February 10, 2013 5:03 pm Next, you guys are going to complain about them not fitting in your long or short box. The simple solution to that is to PUT THEM ON YOUR BOOKSHELF. It's nice to have a comic that you can pull off the shelf and read rather than dig through a box to find it. The stock on these will hold up fine even if there's no bag and board.
January 31, 2013 7:40 pm I'm wondering if I missed something in the story and we went back in time or something. I need to re-read the series again because this issue didn't really make sense. Kirkman is almost always awesome but this was very meh.
