  1. Finally, 7 issues of culmination come to an end! I’ll so re-read #1 to #7 in one shot this weekend! 😀

  2. I’m finding myself just as excited when B&R comes out as when Snyder’s Batman hits the shelves each month. Together, both series represent pretty much everything I love about the character.

  3. I think there is still another issue to go on this arc. Weird how the first arc on this series is seven to eight issues. That’s a pretty meaty opening. I’m still psyched for this though.

    • It’s a good length to cement Bruce and Damian’s New 52 relationship before springing a truly devastating foe on us. Writing that sentence got me very excited for what’s to come.

  4. peter j tomasi and patrick gleason are the best. last issue had a great cliffhanger.

  5. This has been bad ass and is my favorite Bat-book, the others are right on it’s heels. I think after the reboot Batman has come out as king again in the DCU! This Nobody is a serious villian and a force to be reckoned with right now and probably through out Batmans future.

  6. best book currently in print. there, i said it.

no other book gets me so hyped every issue, and every solicit.
did anyone see the solicit for issue ten? AGH!

  7. Love this book, but man, I hope this arc is over now! I’m ready to find out where it’s taking Batman and Son!

  8. @thehangman – No I have not seen anything on this not even a preview over at CBR.
I do believe there is an error in the number of pulls, there has to be; less than 600?? Seems odd, as this a damn good title.

  9. realy enjoying this book robin is awesome could see it was a plot to pretend to switch sides this book is top of my pull list

  10. wow man what a brilliant book this was and that ending was great, we should have known it was coming, what will Bruce do now?

  11. Damn it! Apparently the shipment was damaged on the way to my LCS so I won’t be able to pick this up till Friday. This was the book I was most looking forward to this week…. 🙁

  12. Wow, the gauntlet has been thrown down. Tomasi, and Gleason just made a strong case for Batman and Robin to be taken as seriously as Snyder/Capullo’s Batman. “Forgive me father, for I have sinned.”. Hot damn, that was an awesome read.

  13. Pok-slark!

  14. Heh, “Pok-slark” was a definite standout moment.

I thought this issue had a few too many “Nobody” puns, but some great pages in the beginning and an incredible twist at the end made it another nice read.

  15. Incredible! just wow 5/5

  16. I have been thinking about dropping this book from my monthly pulls. Damian annpy’s the ever loving shit out of me. He has been by far my least favorite Robin of all… With all of that being said however I loved this issue. I blew threw it in like 7 minute’s it was so good and went back and read it again. I am thinking once no8 comes out I will go back and reread the wole thing and see if my opinion changes

  17. You tried to murder my son…and expect to live?!

that page right there might be my favorite piece of batman art i’ve seen in a long ass time. i want that poster.

  18. This has been one bad ass story arc! Nobody finally got his ass handed too him and I am sorry to say but, glad Robin finished the job at the end!! I gave this a five and I finally finished reading all 17 titles this week and there was a four way tie for POW and this was one of them. SS, Luther, this and Ressurection Man. All great issues this week and an all around great comicbook reading week.
This Nobody looked unstoppable for ol Bruce for awhile and I was wondering how he was gone win this one? I must say action, action and great artwork has made this thee best Bat-book out there.

  19. Last issue had me biting my nails. Seeing Bruce go as far as he did because of what was done to Damian was intense. Absolutely loved it. Didn’t even have to think about it for this POTW.

  20. Been a bit on again off again with this title, in fact I don’t have it on my pull list and have just made a point of grabbing it off the shelf each month. More issues up to this months standard and it will be a keeper.

  21. Wow. I did not see that coming.

This book remains awesome. Bring on #8!

  22. I felt as though this title was a slow starter in the first few editions but 6 & 7 have been very impressive.

Great ending, especially where I thought Batman had let NoBody fall into the acid.

I felt the relationship between Batman & Robin was very cliched in the first couple issues but in 6 & 7, it has really developed into something quite dark and I’m looking forward to seeing how it develops.

  23. I must admit that i thought of dropping this title. But now, with the latest issue, a reason to go on. Bruce loves his son as is evident in his battle with Nobody. Damain did, i think, kill the villian at the end but I think Bruce can forgive him this once. I like the direction.

  24. In an alternate universe where this issue did not come out this week. Saga would have got the pick of the week. However, the last issue and the cliffhanger ending and then this issue paying off in the way it did, keeping the momentum set up from last issue going, keeping me on the edge of my seat as Bruce races to save his son. He crashes through the roof and then as he steps out of the wreckage and delivers the line that says it all. the closest i have come to shouting out in public whilst reading, C’mon!!! great stuff. Then Damian making his own choice to protect his father from a future threat and how Bruce will deal with that. Loved it.

  25. This was a great issue. I enjoyed Saga, but this full-on battle with the “father and son” overtones between Bruce and Morgan Ducard was fantastic. Peter Tomasi has an interesting take on the Batman and Robin relationship. I’m looking forward to what his second arc will reveal.

  26. I thought it was very good except for some of overkill in the fight, all those knives in his back and then he falls backwards on them was a bit much. Kind of hard to see someone getting up from that.

  27. NoBody pushes Batman and Robin to do the unthinkable in issue #7 of their series. “Born to Kill” reaches its emotional peak.
