I’m a bit pissed. My Local Comic Shop under ordered Brian K. Vaughan’s new comic Saga and I was unable to read it this week. I had pretty much already had in my mind that book being my Pick of the Week [ you know, considering Vaughan’s track record it was a safe bet (and judging from Conor’s review I was right)

So still being in pissy mood I sat down to read the comics I was able to purchase. The first on deck was Batman and Robin.

By the last page I was no longer in a pissy mood, and I now knew what my Pick of the Week was going to be.

Mother fuck this comic kicked my ass!

Tomasi has been building to this epic issue for seven issues and what a pay off. This issue is a wrecking ball of a comic. It will floor you!

Speaking of being floored, what is up Patrick Gleason? I mean I’ve always dug his art before but this issue? This issue is a tour de force. This is the best work I have seen from this dude – blew me away!

wonderful comic and one I recommend if you are not in the best of moods.

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 5 - Excellent

  1. Agreed. Sucks you didn’t get to read Saga. I can’t stop thinking (or talking) about it.
