I’m curious to see Bunn alone on Venom and am trade waiting for Planetiod since my LCS refuses to get it for me after issue 1. Down from 8 to 3 books this week hoping Flash gets better and Secret Avengers keeps it up!
And by 3 I mean 5 with Bat Inc and Invincible now.
A quiet week for me :- The Flash & now Justice League Dark, that I’d previously dropped during the I, Vampire x-over. I like Mikel Janin’s art, which is apparently getting better & better. I hear Mr. Lemire’s working wonders, so I’m giving it another shot.
BQ : Humid with cloudy spells. Made for an unpleasant travelling experience on “the tube”.

Should we expect OHC treatment for Scalped? Haven’t read it yet, but it sounds highly praised to the point I almost have to pick it up. However, if we think OHCs are eventually coming I will hold off, if not, Comixology… here I come!!!

Maybe not a hot-seller in floppies, but the new trade paperback was in Diamond’s top ten best-selling graphic novels for last month, so we can dream I guess.
Invincible #94 is out this week, not currently listed on here. Also Cobra, Punisher, Vampirella, 2000AD, etc.

Lightest week I’ve ever had: The Amazing Spider-Man #692, Uncanny X-Men #17, Teen Titans #12, The Flash #12, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #13.

Ok, so I recently cut ten titles from my list, and apparently six of them fell on this week. Leavig me with only JLD and Batman Inc. (which I bought when it came out the first time). Looks like I’ll be skipping a trip to the LCS once a month.
BQ: Weather’s been pretty nice this weekend in South Jersey. Little cloudy, but nice and cool for the first time all summer.

hard to explain, but if I could combine ingredients from X-Files, Fringe, and maybe even Planetary – this book is what I’d want to come out of the oven. Smart, riveting stuff, and this week Is part one of two.
Josh has pulled nothing this week. Apparently he has better things to do.
I’m kidding, of course.
I think he said he was going on vacation in the last POTW podcast.
Most excited for All Star Western, Secret Avengers, and especially Rocketeer.
Weather’s pretty nice in New England the past few days after weeks of it being very hot.

BQ: The weather’s wacky down here in glorious Austin, TX. It was 75 this morning, then worked it’s way up to almost 100. It even rained a little! Mind blowing stuff, believe me.
