November 21, 2012 11:52 pm I love Waid, but this was fairly basic. A by the numbers first issue. The art was dissapointing. I'll stick around for Waid though.
November 21, 2012 11:34 pm Wow this was terrible... super confusing art and story. Not a good first issue for a Cap novice like me!
November 21, 2012 10:19 pm Yes! Good job Josh, this was an awesome book! I was 90% it would be Cap or Hulk #1, but I forgot Josh had the pick. Great to see.
November 15, 2012 12:45 pm Wow, this was a bad pick. I think it's going to be tough for anything other than a Marvel Now book to win POTW for awhile the way that iFanboy is going. I thought Thor was pretty mediocre. The POTW is an opinion, but you can still think it's a bad opinion.
November 12, 2012 5:23 pm I kind of come and go from this site and the podcast, but I've been back for a bit... Why do Josh, Ron and Conner rarely ever write anything for the site anymore other than the POTW and BOTM? It seems like all of their posts are preview images, etc., and other people like Jim write posts like this one.
November 8, 2012 9:46 am This is terrible, Hellblazer has been awesome lately even if a lot of people aren't reading it. Unlike Josh, I don't mind the DCU Constantine in JLD, so the new book doesn't bother me, but I wish they'd keep Hellblazer going as well.
November 6, 2012 9:59 am I have 2 kids under 3 so I never see any movies.
November 5, 2012 1:25 pm I can't stand what I've read of GA since the new 52 started. Sign me up for this though. These are 2 of my favorite creators. Lemire is killing it on JLD and Animal Man.
November 1, 2012 3:19 pm 1. Fatale by Brubaker/Phillips I don't know if very many people are reading this, but it combines the pacing and atmosphere of Criminal with the dark occult underground. Fatale has engaging characters, an intriguing mystery, and great art.
November 1, 2012 3:15 pm I think this might be in the conversation if it wasn't for several issues of mediocre AVX tie-ins.
