So.. X-men crossover? Axel Alonso has been talking a lot about bringing the X-men more into the main Marvel universe.
I’m thinking like you. There’s definitely an “X” there. Also, with Schism wrapping up, a faction of X-men could certainly be gunning for the Avengers. Remember that conversation with Cyke, Wolvie, and Steve Rogers about Quentin’s attack?
I say either Cable or Deadpool becomes an Avenger.
Is there any logical reason for that? No. But it’s as good a reason as any for the crosshairs to be very much an X)

Marvel needs to come out with something huge to grab my interest. At this time last year, I was mostly reading Marvel titles and only reading a few DC titles. Now I’m reading mostly DC and will be doing so for the foreseeable future. I just don’t have the excitement for the Marvel titles I have for DC’s new series. I strongly dislike everything Fraction is doing, and can trade wait for the more self-contained series, Moon Knight, Punisher, and Daredevil. I was interested in checking out the new Ultimate line but at $3.99 a pop, I can’t make mine Marvel. Add in the slow transition to digital and my Marvel titles grow even smaller.
I like that marvel is just siting back and not over reacting to dc sucsess I like that they are just doing marvel stuff. And I know thats not the popular opion right now. But im very happy with the marvel books I read
I’m with you nastynow, personally I’m a died in the wool Marvel Zombie and from the New 52 I’ve read so far DC has effectivly pulled out everything I actually like out of the DCU.

there are so many possibilities for this teaser. Bullseye, Punisher going back to his old mercenary/hitman. I do like the idea of Hawkeye hunting them down but that can’t happen, right?

I hate to burst your bubbles, but that teaser image is actually all about me. That is what you see when you look through the scope of the “which family of titles did John Ferrigno just drop from his Pull List” gun. Because the Avengers and I have just had yet another messy break-up.

Like a few of you, I’m definitely thinking X-MEN x-over, and love Cable but its really too soon for Cable Reborn, him sacrificing himself in Second Coming was a great climatic send off after losing Nightcrawler and a cpl other mutants. I recently read in one of these articles on ifanboy that “no one likes Cable” and just wanna say for the record, I do! The comment did make me laugh though as intended. Here’s the thing, I’ve always liked Cable but during the Messiah Complex/Messiah War/Second Coming trilogy and especially his alongside those running parallel self titled CABLE Duane Swiercynski run, I came to love Cable. I also read his wiki witch gave me a newfound appreciation for the character and loved that trilogy and the accompanying CABLE and X-FORCE runs that spawned out of Messiah Complex and ended in Second Coming. Great X saga and should be collected as an Absolute Trilogy called the Messiah Trilogy and have Omnibus’s for the Cable and X-Force runs even though a handful of the issues are in Messiah War and Second Coming. And for f@#k’s sake, put Domino in the new Uncanny X-Force roster, X-23 too!!!
Oh and to comment on my comment, through Daken in X-Force as he would serve well on a violent team for a bit and be suitable for a character to kill off dramatically.
