San Diego Comic-Con is upon us!
Beginning Wednesday July 11th through Sunday July 15th, hundreds of thousands of people will be descending on the beautiful city of San Diego, CA for comics, movies, television, video games and all the other forms of entertainment that can be crammed in that damn convention center.
The iFanboy crew, as we have for the past 11 years (minus 2003), will be at Comic-Con in full force! And this year there will be a passel of iFanboy staffers on-hand! In addition to Josh, Conor, Ron and our faithful companion Gordon The Intern, staff writers Molly McIsaac, Mike Romo, and Ryan Haupt will all be in attendance!
And good news! We’ll be there shooting special episodes of our video show, so if you can’t make it to the Golden Coast this year, we’ll be bringing the experience to you the best we can through the magic of internet video!
There will be some events and happenings where you can come meet us and hang out. We’ve met a ton of great people in San Diego over the years and we hope to meet all of you this year!

The legacy of comics podcasting continues. The world of comics podcasts has changed since they began in 2005 and this is your chance to see the pioneers of comics podcasting discuss how the comics industry has evolved and how it’s affected podcasting. Always a panel full of passion and surprises, thanks to the podcasters appearing on the panel, who include Bob Bretall (The Comic Book Page), Brian “Pants” Christman (Comic Geek Speak), Jimmy Aquino (Comic News Insider), Josh Flanagan (iFanboy), John Siuntres (Word Balloon), Pat Loika (Loikamania!), and Cameron Hatheway (Cammy’s Comic Corner).

As it turns out, Josh was cornered into moderating the panel, and you know what? Josh, if you’re out there – you are a natural at that kind of thing! Like Bill Maher. You kept things going, bringing out good info/stories from the panelists while also providing great humor and your own keen insights. If writing and podcasting ever becomes boring for you then you should consider a career MC’ing award shows or guest-hosting HBO’s ‘Real Time.’
