May 25, 2013 9:58 am The elevator panel was my favourite this week as well. Pretty great week though to be fair.
May 23, 2013 1:51 pm Really disappointed with the colouring. Didn't fit at all with the usual style of the book - way, way too bright. If this had been coloured by Mignolaverse stalwart Dave Stewart it would have been a front runner for POTW.
May 8, 2013 11:04 am Hype, delay and a way-overboard backlash against Cassaday hurt the first arc. However re-read as a whole it's incredibly solid. That said the crazy has been knocked up a notch this arc, and combined with Acuna turning in the best work of his career, this has really jumped up to being one of the top tier books at Marvel.
May 6, 2013 6:04 pm Art wise the run was excellent but Claremont just didn't click for me this time. Really felt the Excalibur stuff looked promising, but even when it spun into its own series again it was a let down.
May 6, 2013 1:08 pm Wildcats 3.0 is the only real highlight in this week's Flashback. Claremont sucked the life out of X-Men when he came back, which says a lot when he was following Chuck Austen.
May 4, 2013 4:24 am It was pretty good. Still worried that we'll ever see it finish. JMS has broken reader's trust way too often for my liking.
April 29, 2013 2:47 pm Chris Samnee needs to be drawing more EVERYTHING!
April 29, 2013 2:29 pm He's a great artist but really came off as a lousy human being at those last few panels when he lost the run of himself. Fingers crossed he's settled down a bit and we can simply appreciate his art without the sideshow. This is a super image that just screams to be sold as a poster when the event starts.
April 24, 2013 3:49 pm Although I am enjoying the main Buffy book there seems to be something special happening with these characters and creators. Hopefully they'll be back for next season.
April 24, 2013 3:47 pm I'm loving this. Can't understand how Gillen's hitting it out of the park on this series, but failing so spectacuarily on Iron Man.
