I have to say, if he replaces Peter with Jessica Drew this will just reek of fanboyishness when it comes to that character for Bendis.

I know it's supposed to really cement interest in the rest of the Ultimate universe but I think it's going to have the opposite effect on me.  With Kitty  and Bobby on the X-men, I'm not sure there will be enough to keep me interested in whatever the new direction is. 

Of course, I'll wait till I read it to make a decision, but I'm not a huge fan of the idea in general.

September 29, 2010 5:43 pm His idea was spot on.  Rebooting spidey has given rise to some great stories.  I love most of the stories since OMD.  But, the idea that it needs to be explained and fixed and whatever.  Stop.  Just stop.  You told a BS story to get the comic to a place where it could tell good ones.  You did the right thing.  Move on.

July 28, 2010 11:10 am Because Igby Goes Down is one of my favorite movies, I knew Kiernan Culkin would be awesome.  I'm glad to see that he is, and for those who haven't seen Igby, definitely check it out.  It's some great witty dialogue and character work in that movie.

Umm... Well, I'm buried under the loads of trades and novels I snagged at con, so I'll try to refrain from anything more. 

 

BQ;  Meeting everyone at the iFanbase get together.  Nice bunch of people, easy to talk to.  Glad I got to meet y'all.  And now after spending the whole day in the airport attempting to get back to Louisiana, I will sleep.

Love the column.  I'm honestly ready to bid adieu to the singles, but I hope that print for OGNs and Trades never go away. 

 

I haven't gotten into digital content at all, but I think it would be really cool to be able to link different issues and stuff to content within a comic.  Like if there was an editor note saying to check out the U-Foes appearance in Avengers 156, have that linked.  Or even linking to characters profiles and stuff.  Some really interesting content ideas that could help out continuity, I think. I could even read X-men!
