February 7, 2013 1:03 pm I remember there was a great back-up Alfred story where Jim Gordon was investigating inside the Wayne Manor and Alfred diverted him from finding out the secrets within the household. (especially the grandfather clock entry.) I remember it being very clever and at the end it gave a slight hint that Gordon may know Batman's identity. I can't for the life of me remember how long ago that was or who wrote/drew the backup story. (Feels like it was over 10 years ago.)

February 7, 2013 10:14 am Weren't they originally going to do a young Bruce Wayne show? Arrow seems very close to that concept, except Bruce wouldn't have such a huge family.

February 7, 2013 10:10 am Like the show, it's great when the action part of story is being told. Diggle is an excellent character. I wish they'd just wrap up the origin story already, but I understand the marketing angle of showing a segment each week. But it's the soap opera-like segments with the family/friends' relationship angst, the "that was in the past" dialogue and over emotional baggage really bores me. The supporting cast, other than Diggle, are extremely weak.

February 5, 2013 2:02 pm So, with only about 4 stories told in a year and a half, DC reboots the JLA? Whatever it is, this is a common issue I have with DC since their 52 reboot . . . many titles like JLA felt incomplete, rushed and pointless. After 16 issues of JLA, I don't feel there was ever a true JLA team or story. (Steve Trevor was more interesting than the heroes.) It took too many issues to tell so-so stories. I actually enjoyed the back-up more than the JLA stories. (Just wish it didn't take so long the tell the story, It took about a year in the back-up story for Shazam to appear.)

January 23, 2013 11:54 am Always annoyed me that the color of Two-Face's bad side changes from time to time over the decades. The Long Halloween is still the best Two-Face related story. Personally, I feel the character suffers from too many revamps and personality changes in the past 2 decades.

January 14, 2013 10:37 am I enjoy when a character takes control and plots out a plan. This issue was a blast! I'm not a fan of evil twins, mind swapping or clones - often those stories tend to be the same story over and over. But this is different, and I'm starting to think everything is not as it seems. At least there is already proof that Peter is not gone. As of hating when a writer shakes up a title. everyone is entitled to dislike the change and move on to something else. But for this issue, because it is written and drawn so well . . . I have to think most people who are hating this, just haven't given it a chance. Personally, I'm aboard for this ride . . . I just hope that Marvel doesn't exploit the change into multiple new titles.

January 8, 2013 7:12 pm Loving this. I'm now interested in Spider-man again. Body swaps have always been in comics, but this story is very interesting and it's not your typical quick-body-change-one-shot issue. There's many place this can go and it's going to be fun seeing what Slott has in mind. (To those whose are negative about this, you know Peter will be back.) My only concern is consistency across the Marvel universe; Will all of the other future appearances of Spider-man be Dr Ock? Or will some still be Peter?

November 22, 2012 12:10 am Apparently using that villain in 3 prior issues, must have fueled Slott to tread where no one should tread AGAIN! Just WOW , , , really? Feels like this will be a year long thing. Hopefully I'm wrong and it's just a short story arc.
