The description of this issue begins with “Part one of a story that will change the world of Barbara Gordon forever” (spoiler alert: it’s a bad haircut…wait, no, that’s not true).  Will she walk again?  Will Snape kill Dumbledore?

The fact is, this issue is much too good to be saddled with such hyperbole.  It’s a solid Oracle story featuring The Calculator, and an MMORPG.  It also ties into Final Crisis in a way that won’t make you have to go back and read it (though the iFanboys suggest you do)

    And it shows Oracle slippin her underwear off as she gets in the shower…  YES!!!

    Add in a MMRPG that cuts people’s heads off when they play and you got everything you would never expect from a comic book.  I’m still a little lost because I never read much Birds Of Prey or Final Crisis, but I still managed to get by.

    @robby: I haven’t read BoP, either.  I haven’t ever read a Calculator story before, but I’m finding this a really good point to begin learning about him.   

    @JJ: Anytime.  Since I’ve got the time to read & review before Wednesdays, I figure I should do as many spoiler-frees as I can.

    Thanks for the review.

    I loved the art in this book and the story was really good too. I also give both art and story 4/5. In actuality, I bought this to keep up with the Battle for the cowl story, but I noticed that this book does not involve Battle for teh cowl very much at all … at least less so than the others that cameout. I liked it though.
