    I don’t think having the New Frontier serve as your introduction to Hal Jordan is such a good idea… Although it shows his getting the ring well, everything before that is messed up. From what I remember, New Frontier had his dad dying in the war, and nothing bad happening in his family…

    Granted, I thought that this was extremely well done, even though I’d read it before in Rebirth and the first few issues of the series. That’s just me though

    @deezer – NEW FRONTIER isn’t "messed up", it’s not DCU continuity.  It doesn’t have to match up with anything except the story Cooke wanted to tell.
