Well first off, I don't think I insulted anyone, including you. For you making a list of negatives and positives I didn't really see it. The only thing you really said in the reivew was that you (and I quote):

hope the second issue begins with all the legions (both good and bad) being killed by Superboy Prime on the first page. 

Other than that, you complained about exposition. I don't know about about you but one complaint isn't a list. 

And about the experts on the Legion, there are probably some people out there that know everything there is to know but for all the new people it's nice not to be confused while reading something. 

I'm no review writing expert, I'm just saying that maybe you should practice in MS word and look at other reviews before posting on here that way you know how to voice you opinion better. Because typing half the review in bold doesn't get your point across any better. 

On excitement again, it's the first issue, you should have learned this in some type of literature class, you introduce everything, present the problem, you get rising action, climax, and resolution. You don't throw everything at the reader's face the first chance you get. It just doesn't work like that.

I'll close with, if you were insulted, well you posted it, comments are enabled, everyone has an opinion about everything, and I'm just an anonymous person that was actually able to get under your skin and bother you about a comic book review pretty badly :)

no problem on the insult there guy. To me there was not that much exposition. You get introduced to the legion of superheroes and what they are about and superboy prime.
On the excitement part, it's the first issue, it's set up for the other four issues in the mini-series. That's why #1 of 5 is printed on the cover of the book. You're not supposed to be exposed to everything in one big issue. You build up the story. It's just like RIP, you give it time. And there is excitement. Superman being called into the 31st century and telling the legion that they are going to have to get the parrallel legions to join up to stop superboy prime from killing everyone. They put it at the end of the book so that you get excited about the next issue.
And I think that people should ignore your review because it's not a good review at all. You don't judge a book badly because you have no prior knowledge of the characters involved in the story. If you are new to the characters, you judge on how the writer did on introducing you to them and their universe. If you know the characters, you judge on how the writer handled how the characters are known to act.And once again I go back to my point that this is a first issue. There is supposed to be exposition for new readers so that they aren't totally lost like many seem to be in Final Crisis and people complain about that.
So there you go. Learn to write a review before posting one because the one you posted is not helpful to anyone new to this book.

Johns made it so easy to follow for new people like me it was like I've been reading the legion for years. Don't listen to the guy who wrote the first review, he hates the story because he doesn't get it. In general, if you like Johns' writing and like Superman read this book. It was really fun to read this week

this is probably a good spot for jumping on. Only GL Corps I read was during the Sinestro Wars so this is really my first GL Corps by itself. It's supposed to start building toward blackest night in this one so it's probalby a good spot to jump on. if you get confused, there is always wikipedia
