September 22, 2008 11:36 pm What happened with Green Lantern this week? It was supposed to come out this week. I mean they still have it shipping 9/24 on dcomics.com. They even have All-Star Batman & Robin shipping this week, but who really cares about that one, it just shows that DC is showing that it's shipping and you guys aren't. Was there a last minute delay? That would actually be a nice thing for you guys to post about every week that there is a delay so that people know that a comic that they are looking forward to is getting delayed.

First, why do you pick up the last issue of a series that from what I can tell from your comment, you haven't read before?

Just go back and pick up the first trade and see if you can't find some of the other issues, if you can't just wait for the second trade in December.

the first series (this is the second) was really good. A really fun and funny book. Amazon has it for around $12 and I highly recommend it. It's like Hellboy but lighter in tone. Hope you enjoy

September 15, 2008 7:02 pm it's a bittersweet moment. On one hand we're getting another awesome issue of All-star Superman but on the hand, it's the final issue. Kinda reminds of the last issue of Astonishing with Cassaday and Whedon. Either way I'm looking forward to this.

where are you in GA? my comic shop is in kennesaw, really small but really nice. guess it all depends on where you are. best way to find good comic ships is google maps

 my comic shop does the save program and i love it. it's about an hour away so the save program is nice to hwere i only have to go once every two/three weeks. guy gives discounts and suggests other comics too. yay for my small comic shop

it's about half way through with this arc which is a continuation from the sometime earlier this year so you'll probably be very very confused. I would think that a good jumping on point might be around the third trade I think. I wouldn't bother with this arc until you read the last arc that deals with this arc which is a trade now called, 

"killing ground"

 there was an arc between "killing ground" and this called "1946" which is basically hellboy's dad's adventure in 1946 dealing with Nazi Vampire Army, really good. I hope this helps but really it'd be better to just wait for this in trade and start catching up on the story through BPRD trades and Hellboy trades.

September 2, 2008 6:31 pm Yep just two more Secret Orgin issues and then we get into the stuff leading up to "The Blackest Night." I'm pretty sure that the next arc is going to be about the red lantern corps. First issue about the red corps is going to be a Final Crisis tie-in called Rage of the Red Lanterns due out next month as far as I know. After the tie-in issue things start to get rolling in GL and GL Corps toward "The Blackest Night"
