April 19, 2012 12:30 pm I remember enjoying The Crucible mini-series by Mark Waid and Brian Augustyn about twenty years ago. These characters are fun when done correctly. This is a different take and I'm not sure about the Saturday morning cartoon art, but I'll be checking out the first issue.

November 23, 2011 8:01 pm Hawkman has so much potential, but this book just isn't reaching it. Three issues in and we still know next to nothing about Carter, which means I don't really care who he's fighting. I hate to say it, but this one should slow it down a little.

This just doesn't feel epic.  The world's at stake, but there isn't any context to show it.

With Thor saying he can't beat the Hulk, Spidey leaving, and Captain America saying, "We're going to lose", everything is coming back to the original theme of fear, but the next issue needs to build some character to get there. 

I still have no idea why Bucky had to die.
