The visual story telling on Action Comics is terrible. Scenes just do not flow smoothly enough for me. My opinion…

A very fun read for the start of a series. The scenes with Luthor leave you wondering what schemes he…

July 17, 2012 11:37 am I'm sorry to hear so many seem to be losing interest in this title. I personally think it's one of the top 3 books being published by DC right now. I was a big fan of 100 Bullets and I guess Azzarello can't do wrong by me.

July 5, 2012 7:19 pm I found nothing enjoyable about this issue. The changing artwork took me right out of the story and I've had problems with the transition of time from panel to panel or sequence to sequence in this book since the beginning. I'm often feeling as if I've missed a portion of the story or as if I'm expected to just know something about Superman's long history that is being referenced. I hate it. I'm done.

June 30, 2012 9:34 pm Great issue to begin a new arc. I'm a returning reader who started up with Spider Island and I have been enjoying Slott's writing very much.
June 30, 2012 8:57 pm Like so many others I want very much to love this book. The Flash is a great character and the current art work is amazing, but the storytelling side of the book is bad. I left this book for a few issues after the first arch and came back thinking the writing might have improved or maybe I was not "getting it" earlier. This issue confirmed to me that this title needs an experienced writer on the team in order for this book to really take off. Others mentioned they had to check earlier issues to see if they had missed some of the story. I too had to do the same. I believe issue 9 had maybe a page of set-up for issue 10, and when issue 10 begins we seem to be dropped at the end of this story with the Weather Wizard. To make things worse, we don't get much of a battle between the Flash and the Weather Wizard. I'll hold on for another issue or two and hope for some improvement. There will be no third chance for the current team.
May 19, 2012 4:13 pm I've been trying to figure out the continuity and time of events myself. The books right now are more enjoyable if you don't think about it.
May 15, 2012 10:29 pm Took a few issues off but coming back for Jim Lee. I try not to buy a book just based on art, but more on story (The Flash comes to mind). I'm hoping this arch does more for me than the first.
May 15, 2012 7:49 pm I thought this was a more directly connected issue to the arch in ASM. If it is "extra" I might skip it so I can save me $4. Been enjoying the story, but this is a heavy "pull" week for me.
