August 6, 2012 9:43 pm As much as i love love Waid's Daredevil, I'll be picking this up. I'm not the biggest Alan Davis fan, but he is good in small doses, like for a one-shot or annual.
August 4, 2012 12:53 am This title is good, but it's not exactly doing anything for me. It's standard Bendis, good dialogue, fairly easy plot to understand, but I feel I don't exactly know Miles well enough. He hasn't done much to prove he's a worthy replacement. As for the art, I can see why people like Marquez, but I think I prefer Pichelli.
August 4, 2012 12:51 am I think I'll be sticking with this. I like that this issue was sort of a breather compared to what's been going on in the last few issues, but still, it's taken a total 180 from its original purpose. It's still good, and Samnee continues to dazzle me with his cartooning skills.
August 3, 2012 11:18 am Love the Thanos one.
August 3, 2012 11:16 am That Mind the Gap cover is really stunning. Has to be my favorite this week.
August 3, 2012 11:14 am In terms of story and plot, very good. This felt very classic Marvel style, with a big science-y influence. I enjoyed that very much. In terms of dialogue, not so much. I feel like Deconnick is trying to prove to us that Carol Danvers is an amazingly cool hero, and I understand that. This almost felt like Captain Marvel featuring Spider-Man. The art was nothing spectacular, I like the way the Dodsons portray the new costume, but nothing really stands out.
August 3, 2012 11:09 am Such a great book. Love the way they made Clint so human, he can get injured, he's vulnerable, and he's literally dealing with repo men. These aren't huge problems for the Avengers, but they are for a normal person like Clint. By the far the best thing I've ever read from Fraction. Aja's art was a bit jarring at first, but I really liked the detail and emotion he packed into his backgrounds. It's a beautiful book. Sign me up for the next issue!
August 3, 2012 11:06 am I really love this book too! This book definitely has a strong Golden Age feel, and I like how these iconic characters are being reinvented. Despite the fact this book had two artists, they had similar styles, so the change wasn't too jaring.
August 3, 2012 10:25 am Really excited for this! Obviously Remender is a no-brainer, and I'm actually a big fan of JRJR.
August 2, 2012 10:59 am I agree. I don't really know much about Deadpool outside of Remender's X-Force, but Brian Posehn is a big draw for me.
